Typographic Studies
Background
Under the direction of Design professor Stuart McKee at the University of San Francisco, I explored three different typefaces through a poster series. In this series, we were to pick three different typefaces, each being 150 years or more from another, and design a poster that showcased the full typeface and the era of design they were created in. A common thread amongst all of them I found was structures and technology. By using scale, I was able to create layered structures and new forms.
